The company is now commercializing its first product, the EleGARD™ Patient Positioning System, which could significantly improve survival from SCA.

AdvancedCPR Solutions developed the EleGARD System based upon preclinical studies showing that device-assisted sequential elevation of the head, heart, and thorax during CPR results in near normal cerebral perfusion pressures and a six-fold higher neurologically-intact survival rate compared to conventional manual CPR in the supine position.^1,2 Multiple US device and methods issued patents protect the EleGARD and device-assisted sequential elevation of the head and thorax (trademarked by the company as the ElevatedCPR^® method), the first major CPR breakthrough in decades. The company’s EleGARD System is the only device that precisely, rapidly, and consistently positions patients for delivery of the ElevatedCPR method in the pre-hospital and hospital settings. It is anticipated that the ElevatedCPR method will increase the likelihood for neurologically-intact survival and also increase the number of patients who could benefit from advanced cardiac management technologies, from coronary stents to implantable defibrillators.
